The Van Arnem Group is a real estate corporation with more than twenty years of experience developing properties in Delray Beach and the surrounding area marketplace. VAP Group specializes in the acquisition, sales and development of commercial and residential property.
Van Arnem Group was founded by Harold Van Arnem in 2003. Raised in Cincinnati, Ohio, Harold attended Xavier University on a football scholarship before transferring to the University of Cincinnati, where he graduated with a degree in Economics.
Harold moved to Florida in 1989 when they relocated the national headquarters of Finalco, Inc. to South Florida, transferring three hundred families from Mclean, Virginia to Boca Raton. After merging Finalco and its subsidiaries into Gemini, Inc., Harold co-founded Cybergate, the first internet service provider in the southeastern United States and ValueWeb and TargetNet, one of the first web hosting companies in the world.
However, Harold’s career first began at GE, where he launched their computer division in Phoenix, but that doesn’t even scratch the surface of his accomplishments. Since then, Harold has owned multiple businesses, including a cable tv network, produced motion pictures (Love at First Bite with George Hamilton), helped to found the North American Soccer League, owned the Detroit Express team that played in the Pontiac Silverdome, and currently sits as a trustee of St. Andrews University and Weber International University.
